Description
The creamy white flowers appear in clusters during May and are then followed by small orange-red fruit in the autumn.
The autumn colour is decorative and contrasts attractively with the foliage turning to a golden brown.
Sorbus intermedia Brouwers is a clonal variation of the Swedish Whitebeam which, like many clones in general, produces a reliable crown which is regular and pyramidal in shape.
This tree is an extremely tough contender and will tolerate the harshest conditions.
